I’ve got 99 Problems but my Gin ain’t One

Delve into the world of Gin with some of the most exciting flavours and innovations to have reached the British shores. These are three stand out spirits to have tickled the tongues of Britain’s most avid Gin fans.

MARTIN MILLER’S GIN

Making your brand stand out in a very condensed market is difficult but, this is what this Gin does so well. The full citrus taste with notes of juniper are a pleasure to taste, but the clean soft finish is perfected using Icelandic spring water. This method of creation is unique in the world of Gin and sees the spirit complete a 3000-mile round trip between England and Iceland. This method gives the gin it’s trademark softness.

OPIHR ORIENTAL SPICED GIN

This botanical gin emerged from the 15th and 16th century and uses ingredients that would then have been considered oriental. Now the ingredients come from over 5 different countries along the traditional ‘Spice route’. I’m sure you can tell from the name that the spirit has an intense and unique spicy flavour. This spice creates a warmth in the mouth and leaves notes of coriander and ginger.

ONE GIN

This British gin ‘One Gin’ comes from the ethical drinks company One Drinks. It takes 9 botanicals from round the world and marries it with English sage to create a herbal and citrus flavour. The spirit to crafted in small batches to create a smooth finish. At least 10% of the profits from all the One Drinks products are donated to fund life changing water projects across the world. As of January 2019, this stands at over £15 million.

With G&T’s being synonymous with British culture, and over 60 million bottles sold in 2018, it is no surprise that there is such a range on offer.
